Sugar cutters and advertisement for grocery shop

Before sugar was "granulated" (made into grains) it was poured into large cone-shaped moulds up to 1 metre high and left to set. These metal sugar cutters, which have sharp blades, were needed to break it down into lumps for use in the kitchen.
